This has been one of my favorite gifts I’ve received for the last few years. My friend, Jenn, makes this mix and hands it out to our seventh grade team. Jenn’s a special ed teacher on the team. I absolutely love it and snack on it for the next few weeks. If you’re looking for a quick gift this season, I thought I’d share this with you. Jenn’s recipes are like so many of mine, not really recipes to speak of. Sharing it below. it’s quite likely this will make its way into my next book.
Jenn’s Trail Mix
In a container, put in equal parts:
- Almonds
- Walnuts
- Pecans
- Salted cashews (the only salted nut)
Then add Craisins and dark chocolate chips until the mix looks about even-ish.
And that’s it! It’s a perfect mix of sweet and salty, with some great health benefits as well. Enjoy!
